Forms for ACR Fosters

Please feel free to use  the following forms to submit photo/bio information about your fosters for ACR's website and social media.

Website submission form
Please use this form to provide info and photos of your foster feline(s) for ACR's website and social media. Email submissions are still welcome, if preferred -- whatever it takes to provide the exposure your foster needs to be adopted! Please feel free to email fosterinfo@allcatsrescue.org.
Change in Status Form
This form may be submitted when changes in status need to be made, such as spaying or neutering, transferring to another foster home or PetSmart, after adoption, or when cats need to be placed on hold for medical or other reasons.

When are kittens ready for adoption?

- If they are at least eight weeks old, weigh 2 lbs, and have had their first FVRCP (distemper) shot.

What is the criteria for adoption readiness  in older kittens and cats?

- If six months of age or older, they will need to have had two FVRCP (distemper) shots, their rabies shot, and be spayed or neutered.
- If your foster meets the criteria above, but does not seem socially ready for adoption, please check with Ellen & Buffy at allcatsrescue@gmail.com.

How do I get great photos of my fosters?

- Check the link below for some great pet photography tips. The best two pieces of advice are to  catch the cat or kitten in a calm mood, and be sure to dedicate a few minutes so that you can get a good batch of photos to choose from. You may take 25 and only one comes out well. That is normal! Taking time is worth it, as the better the photo, the higher the chance that it will spark interest and lead to your foster cat or kitten being adopted. A cell phone attachment like this one is also highly recommended!
This video has a lot of awesome tips, and they work well for adult cats, too!

Thanks for all you do for the kitties!
